Marc Dijkstra, Managing Partner

Marc Dijkstra Masters degree in Mathematics with Econometrics - and a graduated ‘Register Controller’ (post academic). 13 years AEGON: financial, commercial and C-level responsibility. Thereafter, 9 years ArboNed, responsible for New Business and CFO, shareholder through MBO. Joined Posthuma Partners in April 2013. Enthusiasm, inspiration and involvement are key words. Estimates the situation, fast and excellent analysis and then sets the organization in motion, both in growth and reorganization. His career is evolved around these key words, focused on implementation en realization of SMART results. In short: a hands-on director and consultant. Besides Posthuma Partners he is also active as a Boardroom Consultant and Supervisory Board Member for different organizations.

 

Peter van Meel, Actuarial Partner

Masters Degrees in Econometrics and Actuarial Science and is a Certifying Actuary. He started his career in 1996 at NN/ING and worked as actuary and manager in the field of employee benefits, pensions and reinsurance. Since 2014 he works in the actuarial consultancy. The first 1.5 years at Milliman and afterwards self-employed. Peter joined Posthuma Partners in October 2015. He fulfilled amongst others positions the position of Chief Risk Officer for three reinsurance entities in the Netherlands and Ireland. Peter has broad experience in the area of risk management.  He is fellow of the Dutch Royal Actuarial Association and is active in several committees. He is head editor of De Actuaris, which is a two-monthly magazine published by the Dutch Actuarial  Association, for almost five years. Key words are strong analytical power, pragmatic attitude, helicopter view and ability to explain and translate complex matters.

 

Bouke Posthuma, Partner, Technical director

Bouke PosthumaMasters degree in Econometrics and a Certifying Actuary. Started with AEGON (1979), thereafter Watson Wyatt and since 1997 co-owner and founder of Posthuma Partners. He was chairman of the ASTIN board in the Netherlands and a member of the International ASTIN Committee. Besides a member of the Actuarial Association of The Netherlands (AG). In 2008, he received the Honorary Member Award of Recognition and Merit of the AG. Bouke is a highly experienced and an all-round actuary, who combines practicality with the latest theoretical developments in his field, in The Netherlands as well as abroad.

 

 

Herbert Visscher, Partner, International Business Development

Herbert VisscherMasters degree in Economics in Rotterdam followed by 8 years consultancy experience, especially in Asia and Africa. Thereafter, General Manager in Tokyo for the Asian division of ABN-AMRO Bank. Executive Vice President International Business Development for AEGON with the responsibility for international expansion. Lately active as an independent advisor. Herbert is highly experienced in project management and international business development.
