PhD in physics. Worked for 6 years at several universities in USA, Belgium, France and Italy. Switched to the commercial sector. Employed as a non-life actuary at Aegon for 5 years. In addition, worked, for 19 years, for different ICT service providers in the financial industry, always at the boundary between software development and consultancy. Joined Posthuma Partners in 2015 as Manager Software Development. In this capacity responsible for all AI and data science initiatives. Feels comfortable between technology and customer and enjoys developing and improving algorithms and statistical models.
